NetPrompter - Using NetPrompter

NetPrompter is easy to use. It can be used for presentations, speeches and any other prescripted information you want to use on your Video Blog.

You can import existing text files or type a new one directly into the NetPrompter. The text can then be displayed in any font at any size. Once the text is ready to read, it can be smoothly scrolled on the screen.

Using NetPrompter


You can open a new document, open an existing text file and save a file by clicking on the icons assigned for each specific task. Clicking on the Page icon opens a new document. If you have an existing document open in the window, the document will be cleared and you can start typing your script. To open an existing document, click on the File icon. To save a file click on the Disk icon. To get help, click on the Question Mark icon.

You can also open a new file, existing file and save a file by clicking on the File Button. A drop down menu will appear and you can click on the action you want.

From the Edit Menu you can Undo an Action, Cut Text, Copy Text and Paste it. Just Highlight the Text and click on the action.

From the View Menu you can hide either the Tool Bar or the Status Bar.

Start typing your script in the white area or load an existing script by opening the file.

After click on the open icon or open in the file menu, a dialog box will appear. Select the file you want to open. The file must have a .txt exention. Then click open. The document will appear in the white screen.

To Start Playing the Script click the Play Button. To change the speed, click the up arrow to make it scroll faster or click the down arrow to slow down the scrolling.

The Font Button allows you to change the size, font and style of your text. You can make the text larger and bolder for easier reading. After clicking on the Font Button the following dialog box will open. Highlight the text you want to change and then choose the font, size or style and click OK.
